A 75-year-old woman who was found dead in her home in the northwest part of the valley Tuesday has been identified. Jean Main died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Clark County coroner's office said Thursday. Friends remember Calvin Meyers as an environmental activist and public speaker against plans by the Department of Energy to haul nuclear waste to Yucca Mountain and the Nevada Test Site.
