Pedestrian critical after being struck by ambulance in North Las Vegas

A male pedestrian died Sunday night after being struck by an ambulance, North Las Vegas police said.The identity of the pedestrian was not released.Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said the incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. on Lake Mead Boulevard west of Pecos Road.Coon said the ambulance was headed east on Lake Mead when it struck the pedestrian.The incident was under investigation late Sunday night.Contact reporter Antonio Planas at aplan...
