Cairo, SANA- The regional final of the 2021 Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC) kicked off on Sunday in the Egyptian city of Luxor with the participation of Syria.
The contest is organized by Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
"17 Syrian teams participated in the contest, including 3 teams from Damascus University, 3 from Aleppo University, 3 from Tishreen University, and two from al-Baath and Syrian Virtual Universities, in addition to 3 teams from the Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology and Aleppo, "the coordinator of the programming competition at Damascus University, Saeed Srehini said in a statement to SANA.
He pointed out that the contest includes two rounds at the Academy's headquarters in Luxor, as first round was an experimental which was conducted on Saturday, while the second one is a regular round that takes place today for five hours in row, including high level programming issues.
